One of, if not the finest Philip Woodfield guitar I’ve come across. This one was played by a professional for many years and has the open sound and scars to prove it!
What strikes me about Woodfield guitars is how easy it is to manipulate the tone, whether thats through vibrato, or through the vast palette of colors that this guitar allows you to explore.
This Grand Concert model is fantastic - the raised fingerboard only on the side where your left hand needs is a genius idea that is oh-so comfortable.
These continue to be some of my favorite guitars to come across - they are music making machines.
Specs:
650mm scale
52.5mm nut width
Spruce top
Lattice bracing
Macassar Ebony Back and sides
