It’s not every day that you have a guitar like this in your hands! Not only is this extremely rare, being a Spruce lattice braced guitar from Jim Redgate, but it’s also an exceptional sounding and playing instrument. What is the difference between this one and the numerous cedar Redgate’s that I’ve played? I suppose it’s the quintessential explanation of how spruce effects the sound. The trebles have a little more clarity and sparkle!! And miraculously, it doesn’t come off as too bright or thin. The trebles are thick, full of sustain, and are oh-so responsive. The basses contrast them beautiful with the thunderous roar that is typical of Redgate guitars.

All of those wonderful notes about the sound are paired with a stunning matte finished spruce top, breathtaking ziricote back and sides, raised fingerboard, and an elegant and comfortable arm rest. This guitar is a piece of artwork that you just can’t put down, both due to the looks and the sound.

Specs:

-Spruce top (Matte finished)

-Ziricote Back and sides

-Arm rest

-Raised fingerboard

-Gotoh tuners

-650mm Scale

-52mm nut
