This is one lovely guitar made by the esteemed Canadian luthier Douglass Scott.

Douglass Scott is known for making brilliant traditional-braced guitars, but with modern touches - like the raised fingerboard, soundport, and magnetic cover, as well as an armrest. This guitar is extremely comfortable to play, and I think you'll agree - comfortable to look at, too.

This guitar is shorter scale (635mm), 51mm nut width, and a slightly smaller, and thinner body as well - perfect for smaller hands, or just someone looking for something more comfortable to play that struggles with stretches or shifts.

While it's slightly smaller, it sure does pack a punch, both in terms of volume, projection, and character. It's got a charm to it that makes you want to keep playing. The first string absolutely sings, and the bass strings are bold and punchy.

If this one isn't the right fit for you, please reach out to me, as I'm happy to announce that while Douglass Scott has quite a long waitlist, he will be building instruments regularly for GuitarCollection.com. Please do reach out if you'd like to reserve the next one.
