This Dominique Field guitar is a stunning example of the future of french luthiery at it’s finest, and one of the most special guitars I’ve had the fortune to play. What strikes me about this one, is the mixture between the two of my favorite sounding guitars I’ve ever heard - a Robert Bouchet and a mid 1980’s Daniel Friederich. It’s no surprise that Dominique Field’s instruments carry on the legacy of these makers in distinctive style. The trebles ‘pop’ off of this guitar in an incredibly responsive way, and with brilliant sound that is pure, yet has sparkle too it that makes you want you want to keep exploring. Aesethically, this guitar has simple elegance, with a beautifully figured Madagascar back and sides, and Alessi tuners to top it off.

Simply, a magical, colorful instrument. In exceptionally great condition for its age. 2 small cracks are present which were repaired by the great Yuris Zeltins (if you’re unfamiliar, google him - he is the best in the world - a legend, and restored some of the most important instruments in the guitar’s history).

Field’s from this era are extremely hard to find and are the most sought after. This one will go to one lucky owner and is currently available.

Madagascar back and sides
