A legendary guitar, from a legendary maker, with a legendary sound. This one is a real treat to get to know. I've had the pleasure of getting to know quite of a few Friederich's lately, and this is different in a great way. These earlier, 1960's Friederich guitars are much lighter built, not only internally, but it also dons a thinner, more rounded neck which I am a big fan of.

The lighter build amongst other things, like the age and fine woods, results in a sound that is open, and even across the whole neck. It's colorful, and oh-so-responsive. Later Friederich guitars, mostly made with Cedar tops, and a heavier construction take a bit more time to bloom, while this one explodes with sound.

This guitar is set up with very low action, and it is free of buzzing (unless you push really, really hard). For the nerds: at the 12th fret, 6th string 3.75mm, and at the 1st string, 2.75mm.

The french polish is original on this guitar and is in great condition! There are 3 small professional repaired cracks on the top (photographed but hard to see). The guitar also is equipped with the original Fustero tuners. The back and sides are free of cracks and repairs...amazing condition!

There were also several amazing videos made by the previous owner. Please email me and I'll send links.

It's priced for a quick sale. These guitars are in high demand. Friederich's usually don't stay with me for more than a week or two.
