Carlos is becoming known for making some of the greatest guitars in Spain today. The amazing thing, is that this guitar is totally traditional in construction, yet has the power volume and responsiveness of modern day guitars.
If you’ve been looking for an exceptional traditional guitar, that doesn’t feel like you’re making a compromise in terms of volume and power - this is the perfect guitar for you.
Better yet, Carlos is craftsmanship, as you can see in all of the details and appointments on this guitar, is at an extremely high level.
This guitar has had only one owner - it was originally made for GSI, who took incredible photos and videos already of this instrument. It was then sold to a client of mine, who has asked me to sell it as he has a growing family.
This guitar is lightweight, colorful, and packs a huge punch. What stands out the most to me, is the depth and dynamic range of the basis. They change a dramatic amount, depending on how hard you push them. It can ‘hum‘ when you want to, and when you lean into it, it opens up and creates a huge bass sound that supports any melodies. The trebles sing with also lots of the fundamental, creating a clear sound with just the right amount of overtones.
The CSA Rosewood on the back and sides of this Guitar also has a special story, as it came from the widow of Francisco Salvador Jimenez, who is a great grandson of Antonio de Torres.
650 standard scale, Alessi Tuners, hardshell case (upgrades available).
A couple of small imperfections in the finish which I’ve attempted to photograph.
